Dao Nguyen is IISE’s Program Coordinator. She is responsible for IISE’s daily operations, administrative procedures, and facility inventory. She also helps organize IISE’s programs and events, and outreach activities. Besides, she participates in research projects relevant to her research interests and IISE’s initiatives. Her research interests include gender and development, comparative education, global and Asian studies, higher education leadership, governance and policy. She has many years of working in education and international relations fields in both the public and private sectors in Vietnam. She worked as a researcher at the IRED Institute of Education Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. She was appointed as Vice Director of the External Relations Department of An Giang Province and elected as a member of the National Assembly of S.R. of Vietnam, Term XI (2002-2007). She managed research and international relations activities at An Giang University. She holds a BA degree in English Teacher Education from Can Tho University (Vietnam), a master’s degree in Higher Education Administration from Boston College (USA) under the Fulbright Program Scholarship; and is taking Ph.D. program in Higher Education Management.
