Professional Biography

Dr. Martin is an Associate Professor in the Administrative Policy and Studies Department. Martin has been a member of the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education Training Session at St. Paul, Minnesota. He served on prize, nominating, academic standards and accreditation, and program committees in American Educational Studies Association and History of Education Society and on four National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) evaluation teams. He was on the executive committee of the American Educational Studies Association.

Research Interests & Current Projects

Dr. Martin’s research interests focus on history and politics of education. He is also interested in critical theory an education and society.
