Professional Biography

Sang Duk Joh is a doctoral candidate at the University of Pittsburgh in the program of Social and Comparative Analysis in Education. Prior to pursuing his graduate studies, Joh worked as a primary school teacher, an instructor at a private institute, and an English instructor in an educational administrational office in Korea. Now he works as a research associate and secretary of Korean Education Global Network (KEGN) Project at the Institute for International Studies in Education a the School of Education of the University of Pittsburgh.

Research Interests & Current Projects

Joh's research interests are in in social, economical, and political aspects of the development of a country's educational policies. Currently, he is working on developing the KEGN website, to be followed by various activities for the KEGN Project.
