Dr. Yaroub Khyon Hossein is an Iraq government sponsored visiting scholar at the University of Pittsburgh Institute for International Studies in Education. He is a Professor at the Department of Theoretical Studies at Baghdad University, where he has been teaching courses such as motor learning and development. He has been involved in a national program concerning physical education in the Ministry of Higher Education of Iraq from 2000 to 2003. Professor Hossein has supervised 18 Ph.D. and 16 master’s graduates between 1997 and 2013. He also used to serve as a counselor at Koya University, Iraq from 2004 to 2012, where he provided suggestions on curriculums and programs for undergraduate and graduate studies in the Department of Physical Education.
