Dao is a PhD student in Administrative and Policy Studies, School of Education at the University of Pittsburgh. Her research interests are in comparative, international, and development education (CIDE); higher education professional development; governance; economics; and policy.
She has many years of working in education and external relations fields in public and private sectors in Vietnam. She was a researcher at the Institute for Research on Educational Development (IRED) in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. She was appointed as Vice Director of the External Relations Department of An Giang Province and elected as a member of the National Assembly of Vietnam, Term XI. She managed research and international relations activities at An Giang University.
She holds a BA degree in English Teacher Education from Can Tho University (Vietnam) and a master’s degree in Higher Education Administration from Boston College (USA) under the Fulbright Program Scholarship.
