Xi Wang is a third year of PhD Doctoral Student in Social and Comparative Analysis in Education Program, School of Education at University of Pittsburgh. She has served as a Program Coordinator of the Institute for International Studies in Education at the University of Pittsburgh. She earned her master’s degree from University of Hawaii at Maona in Curriculum Studies. She has conducted several IRB-approved projects and also participated in many different research studies. Her research interests include: comparative, international, and development education (CIDE); private education; education reform; higher education management; education policy analysis; curriculum instruction.
