Uttam Gaulee is currently enrolled in Higher Education Management Program at the University of Pittsburgh. In 1999, he received his M.Ed. in ESL from Tribhuvan University. After graduating, he served as an ESL teacher in several Tribhuvan University campuses in Nepal for a decade. During his tenure, he actively advocated social transformation of youth and professional development of English teachers in western Nepal. As chair of Nepal English Language Teachers Association (NELTA) Surkhet, he hosted international conference of ESL teachers and as president of Birendranagar Jaycees, he led youth leadership development programs.
